Patrice Boyer Claeys
FRAGILE
—inspired by the works of artist Yelda Akacik
How small
the body’s soft shell,
sheer sugar strands
thinned
by anxious
watching.
Blown glass lace,
lancet of
bird bones
wisps and whisperings—
Did someone say my name?
