Matthew Murrey
Ink
Because of the hood
and the hands,
and the cell underground.
For the sake of the crow,
the buried seed,
and the blind worm.
For nightfall and all
the hours between the dead
of night and the crack
of dawn. For the first
breath and the last gasp.
