Adam Grabowski

[Color me bemused. In garland. In grief]

Color me bemused. In garland. In grief.
Me and my whole holiday of regrets.
Of all the words to call me you picked the right one

for the moment. This is why there’s no more film in the camera
or dew in the meadow, darling, for either of us.
There can only be so many chances for perfect. The question.

Why do I remember? Because it was delicious,
and nothing fades like taste.
