Jim LaMontagne studied forestry (BS) and creative writing at the University of Massachusetts and has lived and worked in Montana as a logger.  He currently lives in South Hadley, MA where he plays bass in a jazz band. His poems have been published in a number of small press magazines such as Ekphrasis Review, Silkworm, One Sentence. His most recent book is Merrick (Unsolicitous Press, 2018.)
