Ophelia Monet
Wicked Things
rain trails down surfaces in rivulets / staining each
object with blood / grief for all wicked things done /
i think that if you wanted to, you could
talk me into lying to my own self / question my own
intentions / beg to start over / bleach every crimson /
dye the linens a pale beige / burn it all down / open your
eyes / now we start anew / become what we dreamt /
camouflage the change / empty throats of their secrets
